Feel Lucky...
Somebody Somewhere once said:
Work as if you have no need of the money...
Love as if you have never been hurt before...
Dance as if no one is watching...
Sing as if no one is hearing...
And Live
as if the paradise were on earth..
You can get tonnes of lessons from these few lines if you are only ready to open up your mind and think...
is it necessary to always think what we are expected to...
if the entire world says that the earth is a horrible place to live in, you need not feel the same, love the world you live in.... feel lucky for what you have because many in this world might not even have that...

Graffiti
Graffiti. What is graffiti? It is basically writing or drawings scribbled, scratched, or sprayed illicitly on a wall or other surface in a public place. It is a crime, because it is done without permission from the owners. But in many countries many different styles of graffiti have evolved. Nowadays graffiti ranges from simple written words to elaborate wall paintings. Honestly speaking graffiti is one of the rapidly spreading and evolving form of ART. The history of graffiti is quite controversial, it has existed since ancient times, with examples dating back to ancient roman and greek civilizations. In those days graffiti was done on walls as advertisements, whether positive or negative it is difficult to say. Noww.. Coming back to the modern world, and leaving its negativities behind, about it being illegal, graffiti styles are very unique and beautiful. In my opinion if this form of art is given a legal platform, it will become quite successful.. I have been trying out various of its fonts (on paper though, am not intending to doing something illegal)... here I've shared some of them..

Read something quite beautiful today, so I thought why not
share…
Was reading Chicken Soup for Soul (for those who don’t know, it’s
a book, written by Jack Canfield and Mark Hansen)
and read this very thoughtful paragraph.
Patty Hansen narrates,
Two seeds lay side by side in the fertile spring soil. The first seed
said, "I want to grow! I want to send my roots deep into the soil beneath
me, and thrust my sprouts through the earth's crust above me.... I want to
unfurl my tender buds like banners to announce the arrival of spring... I want
to feel the warmth of the sun on my face and the blessing of the morning dew on
my petals!" And so she grew.
The second seed said, "I am afraid. If I send my roots into the
ground below, I don't know what I will encounter in the dark. If I push my way
through the hard soil above me I may damage my delicate sprouts ... what if I
let my buds open and a snail tries to eat them? And if I were to open my blossoms,
a small child may pull me from the ground. No, it is much better for me to wait
until it is safe."
And so she waited.
A yard hen scratching around in the early spring ground for food found
the waiting seed and promptly ate it.
MORAL OF THE STORY
Those of us who refuse to risk and grow
get swallowed up by life.
Most of us who read this will definitely see a reflection of
their own thoughts in it. Because we have to admit that we all fear to take
risks, to try out something new, to carry out our ideas, to be who we are, what
we do, to speak up, to live… It’s not always necessary to follow the world,
sometimes it’s better to just be yourself, stand out unique in a crowd, to lead…
Then why don’t we, because we fear to take risks, to spread out our branches.
Isn’t it much better to take risks and be satisfied that atleast we tried, gave
our best effort, so what if we didn’t succeed, so what if we didnt get what we
desired, atleast we gave it a shot… 40 years from today when we look back at
our lives, our childhood, our youth, we should smile and say, “What an
adventurous life”… J or would it be better if we look back and think, that’s
another soul swallowed up by life…
Take risks, live life...

What to write...
I've had my semester finals recently (about a month ago) and were rewarded with a semester break of 15 days. Our semester breaks do come as a reward, because during the semester we hardly get time to even check out our reflections in the mirrors... Sooo, spend the first few days of the "reward" deciding how to spend the days, how to best utilize them, set up a huge pile of new, unread novels in one corner of the bedroom, took out my easel and paintbrushes, enlisted some awesome new recipes to try out... After the entire planning was done, realized that only two days of the "reward" were left.... Now what... stacked the novels back on the bookshelf and shoved the easel and paintbrushes back in the cupboard.. The semester break gone by, came back to the university with a heavy heart... New semester, new teachers, new courses, and many many new faces... Every new semester definetly comes with new responsibilities and expectations, new teaching styles, new ideas and new initiatives from the teachers... First lecture, and our teacher asks us whether we write something, or when was the last time we wrote, the answer was 'no', so we were handed over a new task of writing something, a blog, a column or anything for that matter... Started thinking when was the last time i ever wrote. hmmm yeah wrote an essay for my 8th grade creative writing competition... I can write, of course i can.. That's going to be a piece of cake, m gonna go home and start writing right away... 2 weeks gone by, guess it wasn't that easy... Am still thinking WHAT TO WRITE.....
